Size guide

MJ Vintage garments are vintage one off items and can vary from the standardised clothing sizes of today. Our garment measurements are taken in inches with the item laid flat to make sure that when they reach you, they fit you like a charm! All sizing is giving in UK mens so make sure you double check the measurements.

As it is essential that you know your measurements, please take time to find these. If you need a measuring tape, we have also provided you with one.

Sizing Tips
Standardised measurements of clothing have altered over the years. Please do not be put off if the sizing label on your garment is different when you receive it; it should still be the perfect fit!

TOPS (Coats, Sweatshirts, T-Shirts, Jackets, Sweaters)

We use three different types of measurements on Sweatshirts, T-Shirts, Jackets and other tops to ensure you get the perfect fit;

Pit To Pit (Width):  (2x Pit To Pit = Chest)
These are an approximation of the chest measurement that the garment should fit. For example: if you have a 40" chest you should look for garments that have a 40" chest (or larger if you require a looser fit).
Collar To Bottom (Length):
This measurement is taken from the where the collar meets the shoulder, down to the bottom of the item.

Pit To Cuff:
This measurement is taken from the armpit to the cuff.

BOTTOMS (Trousers, Tracksuit Bottoms, Shorts)

We use two measurements on these items;

Waist:
This measurement is taken across the waist of the item.

Inside Leg:
This measurement is taken from the crotch down to the bottom of the leg.
